Amiko chat

The latest AmikoHD 8150 Galaxy_2.3.91 by Dekolte has totally messed up my receiver. I have noticed that it has been removed so what is going on?. I cannot load any other firmware and I cant connect to the internet so how do I get rid of it?. I have tried a factory reset but that didnt work. Can someone help as my box is useless.

thanks
Ennis

Dude you have to insert the corresponding St. loader that your reciver and you will not have problems Benefits RS232 null modem cable and St. Neckline from 2.4.20 or 4.2.90 and the problem solved pozzvictory.gif

Hi,

Would it be possible to describe the process of updating firmware thru RS 232 in *** more detail.

I found following article on the same topic, please let me know if this is correct in your opinion.

Code:

Thanks a lot.

I tried this guide, but no success, not starting and giving this error :
"Set stb memory error".
Has anyone find a way to reset this box?

re: Amiko chat

I made it at last!
I used "Universal Loader SD-HD by Dekolte ALi3511 & ALi3516"
that I found here :
Code:

http://www.world-satellite.net/375387-post2.html
and the AMIKO_HD8150_2.4.19_conax abs file (the latest official fw)
and everything went as it was meant! (it took longer than 20' to load
but finally my box went back to its original status and after that I could successfully load the latest "AMIKO_HD8150_2.4.33_emu" patch without any russian useless for me stuff at all).
A big thanks to all involved!

Could anybody please explain to me what's the difference between "emu" & "mcas" versions of every released patch?
